Day 01 - Best book you read last year [2010]
Persuasion - Jane Austen
This is a tad bit of a lie because I’ve read it more than once in the past five years. lol. But I did read it last year. The sweet story of Anne Elliot. A woman destined for spinsterhood. 8 years ( and a half ) ago she fell in love with a lowly naval officer Fredrick Wentworth. Wentworth having nothing to offer but his love was frowned upon by Anne’s father and close friend/ god mother Lady Russel. She was then persuaded to break up with Wentworth because well she had money honey and he didn’t. lol. Fast forward 8 years and Wentworth is now CAPTAIN Fredrick Wentworth and very rich. Captain Wentworth comes back and is now looking for a nice little lady to put a ring on it. He obviously hasn’t forgiven her for times of long ago. But will their constant reunions change his mind ? ? ? LOL Lurrrrved it. Still love it and will always love the amazing letter he writes to Anne. SOMEONE WRITE ME A SAPPY LOVE NOTE !
